Open My World has been providing Equine Assisted Services to members of our community who are living with physical, emotional and cognitive disabilities as well as depression, anxiety and other mental health challenges. Since 2021, we have had a 45% increase in inquiries about our services. We are very fortunate to have two certified instructors on staff and one in training, so our waiting list is shorter than most. However, we still have one. The need outweighs what we can currently provide, so we must grow! We need to obtain more specially trained horses and ideally, move to a larger facility. But our primary and most pressing consideration is the care of our special horses and being able to provide our services to more of our neighbors.
