We are so happy to announce that the City of Leander has decided to honor Donna Roland, founder of Open My World Therapeutic Riding Center, by naming a street after her! Donna’s legacy lives on in the wonderful non-profit she developed for those with special needs in our community. Moreover, by her commitment to this program after a full career as an educator, Donna’s life serves as a beautiful example of how to live a life of dedicated service. Her dream gave our community a very special place where those who have discovered the joy in serving others can volunteer. Her dream opens a world of new possibilities to those with special needs. We remember her fondly and are overjoyed that our community has chosen to honor her legacy.
